Maurizio Sarri believes Jorginho's strong character will prove that he can silence the critics that have emerged from some of the Chelsea fan base. After an impressive start at Stamford Bridge following his £57million transfer fee from Napoli in the summer, the 27-year-old's performances have been questioned by some following a slight dip in form. It even got to the point that some in the crowd booed the midfielder when he came on in the Europa League victory over Malmo at Stamford Bridge. However, the Brazilian-born Italy international was impressive in both the Carabao Cup final and then the win over Tottenham Hotspur in midweek. Jorginho came out in an interview to insist that he is able to deal with the criticism, and Sarri back that up by insisting it is up to the rest of the team to learn his way of playing for everyone to improve. "Jorginho has a very strong character, a very strong personality," Sarri said. "So I can believe that he has no problem to play under pressure. "I think that he played very well in the last match, better in the second half than in the first half. "So, for him, it's very important to finish the match in that way. "I think that he can do better. But he needs all the team to understand very well our way of football."
