Chelsea take on Arsenal this evening at the Emirates looking to extend their lead over the Gunners in the race for the top four. A win for the Blues tonight would mean that they would go nine points over Unai Emery's side and at this point in the campaign it could be enough to kill Arsenal's Champions League hopes. However, a defeat for Maurizio Sarri's side would mean that both Arsenal and Manchester United would be closing the gap on the Blues. For the first time since November, the Blues have had a week off to train and rest and it means that Sarri is likely to stick with the same team that beat Newcastle United last weekend. That means that Eden Hazard is set to play in the false nine position once again, with Pedro and Willian either side of him and Callum Hudson-Odoi on the bench. Mateo Kovacic is set to keep his place in the middle of the park next to Jorginho and N'Golo Kante, with the usual back four looking to keep their 11th clean sheet of the Premier League campaign. Here is the expected team to take on Arsenal this afternoon. Expected Chelsea XI: Kepa, Alonso, Rudiger, Luiz, Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Pedro, Willian, Hazard Chelsea's transfer plans for January With the January transfer window in full swing, football.london want to hear from Chelsea fans on the business they want to see from the club in the first month of 2019 and their view on the season so far under Maurizio Sarri.
