If you work a lot in the Piano Roll you may notice sometimes it is just too dark. Luckily, you can customize the appearance of the Piano Roll Editor by modifying the Piano Roll Display preferences.
Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Click on Logic Pro X in the top left hand corner of your screen.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Select Display.
4. Click on the 'Editors' tab.
5. Select 'Bright Background' under Piano Roll.
