Mike Dean will not serve as fourth official in Wednesday's Premier League game between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur after his heated argument with Mauricio Pochettino at Burnley.Dean was referee for the Saturday lunchtime clash between Burnley and Spurs, which ended with Pochettino confronting him about his decisions. The official was supposed to be on the touchline for the midweek London derby, but has now been replaced to avoid any repeat of the scenes at Turf Moor. Pochettino spoke with Dean on the pitch immediately after the final whistle, before walking away then returning to argue further after an apparent comment from the referee. His assistant, Jesus Perez, intervened and can be heard shouting 'say that again, in front of the camera,' at Dean amid the melee, as Pochettino was led away by Burnley defender Phil Bardsley.Dean has been reassigned to the fourth official role for Manchester City against West Ham on Wednesday night. Kevin Friend will take his place at Stamford Bridge. The move was made by the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) to avoid a potential conflict if Pochettino is charged by the Football Association for his angry confrontation with Dean. The often controversial official has submitted his post-match report from the game - including his argument with Pochettino - to the FA, with the possibility that the manager will face a misconduct charge.Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was fined £45,000 for a similar incident with referee Friend after their game against West Ham earlier in February. Tottenham lost the game 2-1 at Turf Moor, with Chris Wood's opener for Burnley coming from a corner which should not have been given.Pochettino refused to discuss what was said in his confrontation with Dean, in his post-match interviews. The outburst was out of character for Pochettino, who will not contest any disciplinary action, admitting he may have 'crossed the line'.'I will accept everything that can happen from the FA but I hope they won't go any further,' he said.
