Youth, ages eight to 18 are invited to form a team to build a unique chain reaction STEaMpunk machine that uses gears, levers, pulleys, rolling balls, dominoes or anything else they can dream up to complete the final challenge: Making a pig fly! Inventions will be showcased at the 4-H Makers Expo on April 13 and will be eligible for prizes. In this Tip of the Day, Claes shows how he's re-purposed his Mousetrap Car as a STEaMpunk Machine and how he's using 2 sets of wheels and axles to power a pig lifting winch.
