These maps are the results of 27 years of surveying by Dr. Alan Eaton for Blacklegged ticks (Ixodes scapularis). Black legged ticks occur in all ten New Hampshire counties, but are most abundant in the southeast. Numbers are higher in the coastal areas and close to the Connecticut River, but new observations are being found further inland and further north. The number of confirmed NH records of this tick have increased yearly.
