For my musical theatre singing final last quarter I had to edit my own mashup (an audition cut) of the two songs I worked on that quarter : When I Look At You from The Scarlett Pimpernell and Morning Person from Shrek. I got to choose which parts to sing ; the professor wanted us to edit our chosen sung sections based on our acting skill, and vocal ability. The first song has a very deep personal meaning to me and the second song is one I never once thought I’d be able to master. In essence , I’d be able to use these for future auditions for shows.
