Open the mixer and click on the small triangle at the bottom of the Drum Machine Designer channel. This opens all the individual sample tracks. The first one to the right is the Ultrabeat drum module that ultimately powers Drum Machine Designer. Open it up and swap out the samples directly within Ultrabeat that way we always do. Your samples will even change with the various smart controls in Drum Machine Designer.
